I've got a CRT but it messed up.

There's actually a company making a modern pizza box style beige PC case and I considered that for a bit.

I don't want to mess with the CRT too much since they contain insane amounts of voltage.

NEVER disassemble a CRT or a microwave. They can and will kill you.
