The stores were bogged down with people hoarding white paper, while we went on Amazon and ordered a cheap-o bidet, thereby allowing us to mostly escape.

I also remember not being able to find yeast, let alone anything needed to make bread or even food. That was crazy.

We’d just gotten some from Costco, so we were good for a couple months until people went back to normal

Oh. Not to mention Costco limited eggs to one carton per person, and we have 9 people to feed every day... So yeah.

Flour was a huge thing over here. Also most cleaning products, TP, paper towels, hand sanitizer, even stuff like eggs, chicken and milk were really low.

Yep. We were in California and there was not a chance you were going to be able to get anything you needed, especially for a large family. I think we actually had more pre-packaged junk food than normal.

My parents were all like “You’re gonna be able to tell your kids about this, it’s gonna be in history books and stuff ” And we kids were just like “Great, can we just go play with our friends please?”
