This morning I had a pip, and tonight I had a pip! One egg I think internally pipped and is moving like crazy. The other one I still haven't seen much, except a bump on the edge of the air cell. I can literally shine a light through the incubator and see the outline of the air cell, lol. Its cause the shells are thinner, since they're from my old hen.

SO EXCITING. It sounds like the hatch is going really well! I hope they all hatch and are healthy for you, cause it would be so special to get those chickies from your old hen.

It is, believe it or not I set 4 eggs and still have the 4 eggs. Thank you, I hope they all hatch too and are healthy! At least I got one chick already!

I hatched a chick 1.5 weeks ago from my 10yo hen, the last remaining of my original flock. And now I currently have 4 more eggs in the incubator from her that will start hatching in the next couple days.

Aww Tookie, that’s amazing. Something similar happened to me and it’s seriously a blessing. Congrats
