Sometimes, I am shy to the point when I can't even ask people if they need help with someone. How about you?

Because I survived shyness and went on to live a successful life. First thing to realize is that we as individuals are not all that important, and that what we think about ourselves is far more important than what anyone else thinks of us.

Hi I suffer from sever Introversion outside of the computer. I am terrible for it really- I cant make phone calls with out making myself sick. When I try to talk in public my words get muddled up and I come off sounding really stupid but I know exactly what I mean to say. When I get to know people I am extremely well spoken.

For me it helps to go out with some one who is even more introverted then myself, I guess I have a pack mentality but when I go out with some one I feel I need to protect I become outgoing because they need me to help them.

I am not shy, it is for me just an introvert thing. I just freeze up wondering if they actually want me to talk to them. If I do manage to speak first it is because someone is in need of help.
I don't like being an introvert at all. It doesn't seem like I will ever make a friend.

Hey I get where you are coming from I've been this way my whole life and I am in my 50's. My husband is the total opposite so I guess it's true we do attract. I was fortunate to be able to get the courage to speak up not once but at least a few times at our animal by-law meetings. It was hard but something I knew I had to do in order to approve having our chickens. Can I do it again? I don't know.. it would have to be a very good cause. Meanwhile in daily life it can be a struggle. I don't have friends outside of work just my family but I do get by. Good luck.

Yeah, I know that feeling pretty well. Making friends is tough, and I really don't have any advice on the subject, sadly.
