The Joy Of A Broody Hen

Im half tempted to give it a try. Get my buddy to 'rent me a rooster' for the day next time one of them decides to get broody and see if i can get some babies. So much stuff around here that can eat them though, dont like the idea of easy snacks in the yard. Lots of hawks etc fly over every day, the girls are big enough they dont bother them but if there were little chicken jerkeys running around, im sure that'd change very fast, and I dont want to give the hawks any reason to want to hang around here. especially with the Terrible Too,
