Cute I have a 'thing' with some terriers... mostly fox terriers... a fox terrier once kelled all our chickens except 1

Well, terriers are generally hunting dogs. Only a small handful of mine do I trust anywhere near my chickens and ONLY with me supervising.
I've lost a few chickens to my own dogs, but it's on me for not keeping them separated properly. They're only doing what comes naturally to them

Yes, honestly I'm a bit harsh on that dog... it was the owner that made me annoyed...he didn't even care! All he said was "oh. do you want me to clean up the feathers?" Like. No? Aren't you gonna say sorry?

Sorry this is just me raging on about smth that happened... 2 years ago?

That's sucks. If he didn't care that much it's definitely on him, he's responsible for his animal and whether it harms someone else's.

Nah, you're good. I also lost almost all my chickens to foxes about 2 years ago. I get upset about it sometimes still.

in saying tha we had 3 chooks and 1 survived... so it wasn't a huge massacre. Sorry about your chickens
