Here's something encouraging that happened for me today: I've been having a really rough time with my Math lately. The last lesson I did in Math I had a really hard time with and left it crying. Today, I had a really good day in Math! I was even able to do extra! I also did a test this morning and passed it first try! I walked away from my Math not crying this morning!

For you math strugglers... What about it is troubling to you? I loved math, so maybe I can help (if I remember it... it was long ago!)...? Also, a poor textbook or teacher wrecks the whole learning experience. I've had good and bad of both. What a difference it makes.

All my teachers are animated. Everytime I get the animated one named Maria, I usually know that it's going to be a bad day. Nothing makes sense and if I feel good about my answer, it's wrong. Besides, it's only with her that 5 × 5 doesn't equal 25, but some other weird number with a decimal. On my last hard lesson, it was finding the volume of pyramids. I can easily find the volume of cones, but not pyramids. My formula for finding a cone is 3.14 × half of diameter squared × height ÷ 3 = answer. (I do this with a calculator, because if I didn't, it'd be wrong) I made up my own formula because I couldn't figure out their formula (or remember it). As far as a pyramid- I don't have a good formula. I'm hoping that they don't bring the pyramids back, even on the Hi-Set (GED) test.
It's good that you love Math. That's usually everybody's worse subject, but pretty much everybody needs it. Chickens are very good at Math, just I don't think that they can help me with mine.
