After the greeting, Oath's keen sense of smell caught scent of a human. She screamed out a shrill warning cry, "Human. Run. We'll talk later." She then took of at a gallop, then jumped into the air.

Gold. Just.Gold. That was all the hunter could think of as he stalked a winged horse, trying to get a clear shot with his bow and arrow. She had seen him, and flown off, so he had to sprint to keep her in his sight.

The smell of human was still following her, and Oath could see him now, a grisly, muscular fellow, armed to the teeth. She turned again, towards him. She had killed humans before, and she could do it again.

The Pegasus' pursuer slowed to a halt. His prey was coming towards him. "Stupid animal..." He mumbled as he raised his bow.
