The Land Of Wonder Medieval RPG

Connor sighed. "Mount ye horse, then." He got off but still held the reins to both horses. He collected all her weapons and stashed them on his horse. All the added weight was harder on his running bred horse but he knew the bay would be fine. After he gathered the last daggers and arrows, he mounted his overloaded horse and waited for the elf.
Silvia swung up onto her horse with ease and Smiled again. "Could thee stop tempting me with moments to get away? I'd really hate to break the trust thing that's going on here." She leaned down and hugged her horses neck. "Isn't that right Furgonson?" The horse, Furgonson, just shook her mane. And then, oddly enough, Silvia's nose started twitching slightly (Yes, the female horse's name is Furgonson, and Silvia's nose twitches when she talks to her horse. Because logic. Things in Italics is Silvia talking to her horse)

"We could escape right now!" Furgonson complained. "This man is a fool to think he can contain us."
"Oh hush." Silvia replied. "We should try trusting him, I believe he does not want me dead."
Furgonson pawed at the ground in an agitated way. "And then if we get within a mile radius of that D*** castle, I trample him to death, you get your possessions back, and we run for it."
"If we kill this man, the king WILL have a reason to kill US. Besides, when we first ran past him, he was with a family. More people would feel loss over him than us."
"Well no one will fell loss over us, because the king already killed anyone who would care!"
"Nanami and Aileen are still out there! I can feel their life force"
"Oh here we go again! You and your life force nonsense!"
"You need to have more faith, Furgonson."
"I hate that name"

Silvia sighed and sat back up on her horse again. It was pointless, trying to get Furgonson to see reason.
"Stupid horse..." Silvia muttered to herself.
"I heard that!" Furgonson exclaimed.
"Oh, shuttup!" Silvia accidentally yelled out loud. Her face paled at realization. "Oh... Um..." She nervously rubbed the back of her neck.

Thea showed the mare her palms that held nothing. "I won't hurt you..." She calmed.
Azria watched as Thea walked up to the grey horse. She backed up her cremello mare slowly and turned to leave. She had other matters than try to tame wild horses. She would let Thea do that while she exercised her mare. Azria tapped her horse's sides to get it into a slow trot down the road.
Another horse, Andromeda noted. Of course there would be two when I came out of the woods.

Drake followed quietly.
Melody reached her house and opened the door, walking in with Wolf at her side. "Come in, have a seat" She said and moved to relight the fire. She used her magic to get it going then made sure Wolf had water to drink before fixing a drink for the two of them and bringing it to the table. Her home had the one large room with the kitchen and living area open, a single table with two chairs, a couch and many cases of books lining the walls. There were two other doors besides the entrance, one that led to her bedroom and one that was for storage and led to the root cellar. Overall the inside was simple and plain but for the books.

(Did she let him see her use magic?)

"Interesting fire," Drake commented casually, "How'd you manage without tinder?"
"Fire's a simple enough s..." Melody blinked then looked to him and raised an eyebrow realizing what she had done. She never had people in her home and grew careless about using magic inside. It was often quicker and simpler than using more normal means of doing things. "Well, I could always take the memory from you if need be." She said and set the cups down, moving to sit in a chair and look at him, touching a beaded bracelet on her wrist "Will I need to?"

Drake smiled, letting his canines elongate for a moment, "I don't think you will."
