The Land Of Wonder Medieval RPG

Connor sighed. "Mount ye horse, then." He got off but still held the reins to both horses. He collected all her weapons and stashed them on his horse. All the added weight was harder on his running bred horse but he knew the bay would be fine. After he gathered the last daggers and arrows, he mounted his overloaded horse and waited for the elf.
Silvia swung up onto her horse with ease and Smiled again. "Could thee stop tempting me with moments to get away? I'd really hate to break the trust thing that's going on here." She leaned down and hugged her horses neck. "Isn't that right Furgonson?" The horse, Furgonson, just shook her mane. And then, oddly enough, Silvia's nose started twitching slightly (Yes, the female horse's name is Furgonson, and Silvia's nose twitches when she talks to her horse. Because logic sucks. Things in Italics is Silvia talking to her horse)

"We could escape right now!" Furgonson complained. "This man is a fool to think he can contain us."
"Oh hush." Silvia replied. "We should try trusting him, I believe he does not want me dead."
Furgonson pawed at the ground in an agitated way. "And then if we get within a mile radius of that D*** castle, I trample him to death, you get your possessions back, and we run for it."
"If we kill this man, the king WILL have a reason to kill US. Besides, when we first ran past him, he was with a family. More people would feel loss over him than us."
"Well no one will fell loss over us, because the king already killed anyone who would care!"
"Nanami and Aileen are still out there! I can feel their life force"
"Oh here we go again! You and your life force nonsense!"
"You need to have more faith, Furgonson."
"I hate that name"

Silvia sighed and sat back up on her horse again. It was pointless, trying to get Furgonson to see reason.
"Stupid horse..." Silvia muttered to herself.
"I heard that!" Furgonson exclaimed.
"Oh, shuttup!" Silvia accidentally yelled out loud. Her face paled at realization. "Oh... Um..." She nervously rubbed the back of her neck.

It didn't take long for Drake to pick up Andromeda's scent. Running along her trail, he gave a snarl of frustration as it neared the road. She just couldn't keep out of trouble, could she? There she was. At least she had the sense to keep her hood up. Her head whipped around as he approached, but she wasn't fast enough to dodge him when she was off her guard and he was angry. He grabbed her arm.

"Explain," he growled in the wolf tongue, putting back his ears.

"Hello Drake," yelped Andromeda, trying her best for a winning smile, "I didn't expect to see you. Lovely day, isn't it?"

"Andromeda!" Drake snarled, "What's the rule?"

Andromeda sighed. "No human interaction," she whined. "But I'm bored!" she yipped.

"Really? Well, if you want something exciting, you could be hunted down and killed!"

Andromeda hung her head, "I know…" And then, with that infuriatingly stubborn spirit, "But I don't think I'll be hunted at market. It's not like I'll be proclaiming what I am!"

"I DON"T CARE!" snarled Drake.

"Please Drake," she yipped, giving him pup-eyes, "Just this one time?"

Drake glared at her for a minute. "Fine," he snarled, "But don't you dare leave an arm's length of me."

"Yes Drake," she yipped meekly, but he could see the self-satisfied gleam in her eye.

Melody took the cup he had left and studied the leaves carefully, seeing everything she could in them before going to clean his and hers. She glanced to Wolf then "Is this what you have been waiting on? Is it time yet?" Not expecting an answer she went about her chores and prepared her spells.

(Time for what? O-O)
