Further out in the woods, a mother grouse hid, scrunched down in the tall, forest brush, but when she heard paw falls she flew as fast as her wings could carry her, to distract them from her babies, it worked. Lilly threw the dead grouse back towards Adam, "Eat up" She grinned. (I wanted to try from a different prospective, like some authors do, that was fun!)
