Jessica stepped outside the den to make room for Nate (Is it morning?)

Briar drifted off to sleep, twitching as she dreamed about the memories that had been roused awake when she talked to Dalton

Briar scented the air. She decided to go back to the place her and Dalton had talked earlier, and see if anything, or anyone, had taken the rabbit. She was hungry- but couldn't be bothered hunting right then

Hougen came out of his den and saw Jessica and Nate. He smiled and walked over.

Briar started trotting toward the rabbit, tree place. She stayed reasonably dry under the trees, but the rain still got a bit wet. She hurried until she reached the place she thought was where they where yesterday

Briar saw that the rabbit had been taken by some other animal, and heaved a sigh of slight frustration. She turned to go hunt more toward her den, but first wanted a drink
