Cole looked at the water and began to wonder about his mother and how he treated his family.

The howling stopped. It was completely dark. A wolf came through, a lit branch in it's mouth. It carried it to a fire pit, and threw it in. Kate looked around nervously. The leader came down from his standing position.

Ki watched and still wondered what was going on.

Ki looked at the leader and stepped forward in a none fighting stance, then bowed his head to him "Fire pack Alpha, please let me explain. Me and this nice female have a pack but I do belong to a famous group the leader I belong to is Wolf, the Mighty one. The Male who saved lots of wolves during the Great Fire and helped with a war. I belong with him and he would be glad to help you and so would I" he said "Just leave this female out of it, she knows nothing of war and she is not a fighter and hates fighting" he said

Ki looked at him "I'm Ki, the third in command of Wolf's group" he said "I promise I will get you Wolf to help, but I must take Kate with me, because she is scared to stay here, it's new for her and she only trusts me" he said
