Ava then launched herself towards the Elk, who had made the fatal mistake of running towards the water. She imbedded her sharp and deadly fangs into its neck, squeezing the windpipe.

Samantha raced over and bit into its unprotected flesh. 

Lucinda walked over to Cole's den "You awake?' she asked.

Cole stood up and looked at Lucinda "Yeah, what do you need?' he asked then walked out of his den.

Lucinda sighed "Cole, have you ever felt bad for someone, even if he or she was evil?" she asked

Cole sighed "Yeah, I felt something close to that, but if he or she didn't give up, then I had to kill it. But I thought of the good things, if that wolf or dog or animal was gone, then it would be safer" he said

Dalton woke up and came out to eat.

Jerome was asleep in his den, he woke up and walked out of the den and went to eat.

Sara and Hiro came out of their den and came over.

Lucinda tore a piece off, she wondered if Ava noticed that Tiny was gone.


Cole and Dalton continued to eat. they noticed that Tiny was gone but didn't say anything.


Sam and Hiro ate some of the elk and smiled.

Jerome walked over to Ava and smiled then took a bite of the elk.
