I need to post updated pics again. They are really filling out well. The younger egypitian boys are all crowing now.. In my house no less!! Darn that coop taking so darn long to get here!!

But anyway.. this is what they will be moving into on saterday... ok.. prolly sunday.

Mine will NOT be painted like that ;) Mine will be yellow and white. It will also have the extended run and some other additions to it :)
But the funny thing is... that this is meant to be pulled by a lawnmower/tractor... ummm... we dont own one yet. I think we will just have to try to move it via brute force for now ;)

Oh believe me! I KNOW! My neighbor waved me over to tell me that somehow a crow had managed to get into my run. I had to break it to her that that wasn't a crow that shes just a strange looking chicken... I don't think she believed me ;)
 
AND... the 'nearly laying eggs' Pics... AND.... pics of the new mobile coop ;) The "neighbor-be-good/gone" fence and more! I know I know... been a very long time since I posted an update but well.. thats life!

Thanks to these great guys (who are also our lawn cutting guys) we no longer have to see or be stocked by our *word I can't say here* neighbor who just LOVES to harass anyone who lives (or has ever lived) in this house :D YEAHHH!! Its true what they say... tall fences make good neighbors ;)



The Great Wall of Wylie! ;) hehehe Our lovely neighbor belives whole heartedly that CHICKEN FARTS are causing him to have small tomatoes... seriously. IM NOT KIDDING!!
Nevermind the fact that he sprays GALLON after GALLON of weed killer within a foot of his tomatoes plants.... *nahhhh* its GOTTA be chicken farts... right?! Therefor its our fault that he has dieing tomatoe plants and itty bitty tomatoes......

Even the latest code inspector that he called out on us told him that chicken gas has NOTHING to do with his tomattoes size and pointed out that we are doing nothing wrong. *phew* ;) Thats three people who have inspected and found ZERO violations. Whooot!

Well worth the $$. Seriously. The quality of this thing is unreal. WAAAY better than anything we could have thrown togeather ourselves. Its WAAAY heavier than we thought it would be so there is no way we can move it by hand. Our wonderful fence/lawn guys used thier truck to move it for us :D yeahhh! way to go guys :D







Our garden is growing like a weed. I harvest from it every single day... and have more vegies than my husband and I can use so we have been going door to door giving away tons of squash (4 kinds), cucumbers, tomatoes, peppers, various herbs, and even flowers. The raised beds were expensive... but SOOOO worth it because nothing we put in the ground here grew at all!! Onions and garlic in the ground were a total waste of money and effort. The round raised bed is potatoes btw. Every other month we have been adding a new round and more soil on top to give the potatoes more room to grow :D



From the other side (three kinds of cucumbers flow out of the beds down onto the ground). We have 2 acres and next year we will be using a lot of the field as well.

Lil Betty White is turning out to be stunning! ;) When shes not walking she forms a perfect V when she stands upright. Should I think about showing her?
