Hi, I'm just starting to look into getting a few birds and building a pen. Living the dream here on the wet side of the state in a residential area. It will be a smallish area for them, I'm thinking 25' square foot pen with about a 6 square foot house to roost in.
I was thinking about 2-4 laying hens and hopefully some quail. Is it possible to keep chickens with quail?
