Howdy Folks! Big Tex here! I'm new to the chicken business. It all started with drinking a beer with my neighbor and discussing plans to build a coop. It took twice as long and twice the funds. It was a lot of work, but I have enjoyed watching these chicks grow right before my very eyes. I released my chickens today for the first time. They got a taste for the outdoors and love it! Free at last! Free at last! Getting them back in the coop was another story! Proud to be here!

It was 60 degrees today but supposed to be 19 degrees by 7am tomorrow. Probably not brutal to you , but drastic for us. Gotta Love Texas!
