"Ah, so you've been hiding the truth from her," Thunder smirked.

"We don't want her becoming a disgusting traitor like you," Senkah growled.

"You can't hide it forever," Thunder said softly. "She's smart. She'll figure it out soon."

"She'll learn when the time is right."

"And how do you know she won't come running to me when she finds out you've been lying to her her whole life?" Thunder smirked.

Rose dropped her in one of the dens. "Stay here!"
 
"No!" Silver yelped. "They're hurting a helpless wolf!"
 
Ganzfeld, who had been watching the whole thing unfold stepped out."That,my dear is Thunder. He is a war criminal. He will die, or he will be saved, if only Aurum hadn't stolen the mercury. He is far from helpless."
 
Thunder bared his teeth finally, "I've had it with you, Senkah." He threw himself into the air, crushing Senkah under his spine. Senkah gave a yelp, before she fell silent. He placed a paw on the she-wolf flanks triumphantly, "this is just a warning for you all. I will return for my daughter," he hissed threateningly. "And I will slaughter all who stand in my way." Unfurling his wings, he took into the air, disappearing on the horizon. Senkah lay ominously still.
 
Thunder padded to the top level in his fortess, sliding a stone out of the way with telekinesis to reveal a hallway, leading to a small underground cavern. It was lit up by a strange, unseen light, and a small pool of water swirled. On an individual shelf lay 5 sacred objects of Rainea; the master mind gem, the soul dew, the silverstone, the onyx flame, and the night feather. All he needed now was the Orb, and the drop of water from the moonpool. After that, he would have ultimate power. A dark smile crossing his maw, he sealed the entrance to the cavern, before diving into the pool and swimming.

Down, down he swam, into its depths. He slid as the water suddenly stopped, and he entered a large cavern. This was the cavern here he had his secret meetings with his generals, deputies, and the healer. The walls were made of stone, and water dripped down from the ceiling. A hallway branched off from the main cavern; six sets of shackles and chains hung from sockets in the wall inside of it. A few of them had bones and remnants of flesh inside the shackles from unfortunate captured creatures who had died there seasons ago and had been left to rot. Farther down the main cave was Ebony, his deputy, along with the generals Arabian Knight and Sandstreak. Beside them were their deputies; Black Magic; Snowfur; Leafe; and Ranik, and the healer, Deer, was there as well. Thunder strode up to them, his powerful muscles rippling under his silver-black pelt. They bowed their heads in submission.

"What is the report?" Thunder asked, his powerful, booming voice echoing eerily off the walls.

"Everything is going just as planned," Arabian Knight replied, his voice low and powerful. "Sylvana has successfully taken over the arctic, and Littlecloud is in the process of taking over the Dark Forest. Ebony and I have also captured the Guardians of the House of the Elders. The spy has almost reached his destination, and he will soon be making his move."

"Excellent." Thunder nodded slowly, a dark, evil smirk gripping his muzzle. "What about the party sent to discover the moonpool? Has it been found?"

"No sir," Arabian Knight admitted.

"Very well," Thunder said, "it will be discovered soon."

The seven sacred objects were powerful magical objects discovered by the first Guardians. The most powerful came from the moonpool, a small pool that had originally streamed down the stairs of the House of the Elders. But time had buried it beneath the ground, and its location remained unknown. When brought together, they possessed enough power to destroy the greatest darkness, to create a land such as Rainea, and to bring the smallest creature to greatness. But they were not immune to darkness, and when used incorrectly or used by a dark power, it spelled disaster for whoever opposed it.

"We are very close to taking over Rainea," Thunder began. "The rebels do not suspect a thing. I will rule for eternity with Ebony and Silver at my side, and bring Rainea to power. All of what my father brought Rainea to will be remembered as mere leaves in the wind, floating by and never seen again. The age of the guardians is over. The time draws nearer with every moment that passes..."
 
Attollo, who had been hunting, padded back into the camp. He dropped the rabbit in his mouth out of shock. "W-w-what...?"
