After he had rested a momen, Aurum flew over Senkah and Attolo, thinking of how wonderfully cruel it would be to turn just one of them dark. "I will rule Rainea alone, but if I must, I will side with another creature to accomplish my needs, then kill him." He dived down towards Attolo, one talon extended to strike.
Distracted, Attollo opened his mouth to say something. He glanced around. "Senkah...MOVE!"
Aurum struck. Raising his blade, he made a downward stroke. "I was trained by Guardans ofGa`Hoole, you know. You cannot beat me!"

Senkah shot in front of Attollo, taking the venom for him. She fell on her side limply.
Attollo gasped, shock starting to set in. With a snarl, he launched himself at Aurum. Clio reached over to grab him. "Attollo, stop it!"
"You want to fall to the venom as well?" He asked with the mind gem he had stolen from Ganzfeld`s dead body. "Your poor Senkah will die if you don`t come peacefully."
"Leave!" Clio snarled. struggling to hold Attollo.
"Clio, let go of me!" he snapped.
"Ah, I just think I will take you as well. After me and Attolo settle our differences-in the air." (Major Epic Battle)
