Aquilon, Neptune, Calliope, Alektyra, and Wisteria started to run towards them, but they were too late to stop him from striking Silverstream.

Myth sat in the same spot, until she noticed Alektyra and Calliope sprint off. She decided to join the herd.

Aurum rolled, his wings brushing off her claws. "You want to die, I see."

 

[OwlLover]

Bunching her legs, Silverstream jumped up at him again.

Aurum tried to loop out of the way, but her claws caught his talon, causing him to fall to the ground.

 

[OwlLover]

Silverstream, holding the talon firmly in her jaws, shook him roughly like a ragdoll as she signaled to the others on Senkah's team to stand by in case she needed help.

Aurum shook, jarring his talon from SilverStream's grasp.His blood, black with the nectar, ran freely down his leg. "Why don't you kill me now, Silver? I'm at your mercy. One bite, and I'm gone forever."

Glacius dove down, a white fury in her eyes. "I will kill you, Aurum, even if it's the last thing I do. I will not rest until you are nothing but a dead body!"

 

[OwlLover]

Silverstream glanced up at Glacius. "I am." She put a powerful paw on Aurum's chest, holding his talons down with her hind legs. Her hot breath in his face, she breathed, "any last words?" Her voice was barely a breath, so much that it would be hard even for Aurum to hear.

(Can I kill him?)

Aurum spat, breathing hard. "You`ll never kill me! I will always come back, one way or another, stronger than before."

"And when that day comes, I'll kill you again," Silverstream said softly. "I'll kill you as many times as I have to. You'll never win, Aurum. Not when I'm around." And with that, she took his neck gently into her jaws, and bit down with bone-crushing strength.
