"Just shut up, both of you." Matt rolled his eyes as he came in, and lava began to form on his paw. He melted the locks to the prison cells away, before he melted the shackles.

"YES!" Calliope sprang up, her talons slipping out as she turned into a dove.
Alektyra started to say something. "What's up with you?" Neptune mumbled to her, "You've been seriously freaking out lately."

It's a type of magic that makes someone's vision go golden, and they think they're turning into a hagsfiend (an evil bird that is half owl, half crow.). It can make someone go yeep (wings lock in flight) and severely weakens them in a fight.
