"Not around here," Matt said, coming up behind Natalya, "but I'll make you a bowl. Here." He pried a large rock out of the ground and placed his paw on it. It bended, and Matt continued doing this until a small bowl was formed. He dipped it in the water and placed it beside Krystal and Dart.

"Right," Dart said. "I just hope that I don't melt the stone." Her foot turned red and black and heat waves visibly radiated off of it. She put a toe in the water. A few moments later it started to boil.

Well, technically that would be controlling someone else's character if you used it on anyone except your own. Thunder's dark magic only makes someone go dark, but they can still rebel from him. (I have a plan about that, but I'm not bringing it in until much later.) The telepathy by itself is fine.

Krystal added the ingredients and chanted the spell. "Get Sylvia!" She shouted to Matt. Matt nodded and unfurled his wings, taking flight towards the new base.
