Sheila's ears perked up when she saw the rest of her team returning in the distance.

Autumn and Kate panted as they lay Lexie and Nikki onto the floor of the cave. Autumn uttered only two words to Willow, "get Kenny." However, Autumn didn't even have to say that, because as soon as Willow turned around, Greta was already flying back into the cave where the snow leopard was. Nikki had numerous broken bones and countless scratches and gashes, while Lexie had dozens of gashes, nearly every bone in her body broken and a few internal injuries. Both were wounded so badly that they were only hanging onto life by a thread.

Willow nodded, "that's his power."

Kenny paled when he saw Lexie and Nikki. "Oh my... Kate, Autumn, we need to take her to the underwater cave." They nodded, and Autumn slung Lexie over her shoulder while Kate grew to roughly 2x Nikki's size as they followed Kenny into the back of the cave. Sheila followed, folding her wings as they went under a water hole in the back of the cave, just barely enough for Nikki to squeeze though.

(Its alright.)

Kenny and Sheila began trying to heal Lexie and Nikki. Faedon swam down and Autumn and Kate remained nearby, and Sheila turned her head to look at them as she healed Nikki.

"Was Haylei there?" Sheila asked.

"No," Faedon shook her head. "She wasn't under any of the hallways we checked or the one Nikki and Lexie were at. Rakada and I could sense that she was nearby telepathically, but when we tried to communicate with her she wouldn't respond."

"That worries me," Sheila murmured. "I hope she's alright."

Meanwhile back up at the cave where everyone else was, worried murmurs could be heard.

Sylvia turned the leather book over, running her talons down the last page. Attollo was going to kill her...

...she tore it out.
