Kate went back to the island in the arctic where her pups were, with Rocky riding on her back. A harsh blizzard blew, but Kate had become used to flying through harsh conditions. She landed inside the cave, and Rocky slid off. Her pups ran to greet them.
"You came back!" Dan smiled.
"Yes," Kate said, smiling back. "I'm sorry we didn't visit you sooner. Lexie and Nikki needed to be rescued, and they were in worse condition than we thought they'd be."
"Can we go back with you?" Sandy asked.
Kate looked at her pups for a minute before replying. They were growing big; they had only a month or two until they were ready to fight Thunder. "No, not yet. It's still not safe. But I promise, I will visit you more often."
"You came back!" Dan smiled.
