Neptune glanced at Sylvia, It's about family problems, isn't it? he thought.
Calliope seemed to understand, "Um, I'm going to go settle doen things with big mouth over there." She trotted away.
"What is it?" Neptune asked, urgently.
"That harpy eagle I fought," Sylvia said, her voice growing softer, "When she threw me down into the abyss her wing shifted. She has a bag, and I SAW the tip of a book poking out of it."
"So?"
"How many books have a kite and a hoofprint on the cover?"
"Sylvia," he said, "We lost that over a decade ago."
"No," she said, "It was stolen. I think that eagle stole it. That could have an antidote to the dark venom in it! We never finished reading it, right."
Neptune gulped, "Most of that stuff is dangerous, poisons and how to mix up toxic foods to kill someone. I don't think I want to see it again."
"It could be reversed."
"Still--"
"Neptune," she said, "I...I lied to Attollo. You have to get that back somehow. Or..."
"Or what?"

Rakada padded up to Haylei, "Haylei?"

Haylei only looked up at her.

"Why are you so..?"

"Because it's my fault that Autumn died."

"...or I'm going to die."
"WHAT?!" Neptune yelped, loud enough for the others to here. Alektyra glanced their way until Calliope continued their conversation.

Greta, Lexie, Natalya, Dan, and Willow looked over at them.

"What?!"

"I watched her die, Rakada. She had been surrounded by Sylvana, Kalista, Naika, Ranu, and that spotted owl, Kinah. Even with her ability, there was no way she could have survived. But she still fought bravely. Sylvana nearly ripped one of her wings off, leaving it hanging on by only a few ligaments, but amazingly, she still flew. Neptune lowered his voice, "Why?"
"She made one of those poisons, I don't know which one but I can feel it flowing in me. If we find the book we might be able to reverse it."
"But we have to stop Thunder!" he said.
"I know," Sylvia said, "I don't see how we can do those two things at the same time."

What?!"

"She went yeep. She tumbled to the ground, and broke all of her ribs on her starboard side. Kalista dove after her, and slit her throat."

"Haylei..." Rakada was speechless. "Why didn't you do anything?!" Her speechlessness was quickly replaced by fury.

"I had gone yeep myself." Haylei was ashamed to admit it.

Rakada turned around and stormed away, furious.

"Hold on a second," Neptune said, "I have an idea. I'll go with one of my friends to look for the book while Attollo and Ale-- one of them stays to fight Thunder with the others.
Sylvia nodded, "It...it could work."
