"I can help you find the eagle, when you know the general area she is in," Rufus said quietly. "I can see through solid objects, and most animals don't notice me since I'm so small."

Natalya nodded. "If only we had Faedon to locate it now..." Quiet murmurs arose for a few moments, before it was replaced by eerie silence.

Dan looked at her in surprise for a second, "Shade is part of your team?"

Krystal turned around, "we were not going to torture her, by the way. We assumed at she was one of Thunder's soldiers, and they are trained to not give away any information no matter how horrible the torture is."

"By force?" Dasha chuckled. She was crouched in a patch of sunlight with the Orb between her paws. "The only force you'd need is the force to pry most of her body out of solid rock."

"Eat, Senkah," Thunder said as he dropped a fawn at her paws. Senkah just looked at it disgustedly. "I hunted this fawn just for you. The meat is nice and tender."

"I'm not hungry," she mumbled, turning away.

"Does my mate simply not like deer meat?"

"I am not your mate!" Senkah snapped, turning her head around to glare at him. Her eyes were like blue fire.

"But my dear, you will rule over Rainea with me!"

"I'd rather die!" Senkah hissed venomously.

"And let down all of your loyal subjects?"

"Oh, I don't think they'll mind."

"But they were all so looking forward to having a queen!"

"I hope they learn to deal with disappointment," Senkah replied bitterly.

"Oh sweetheart, you can't let your subjects down so easily."

Senkah whirled around, her eyes like hot coals and her teeth bared in a furious snarl. "What did you just call me?" She snarled.

"Does my sweetheart not like her name?"

"I am not your sweetheart!" Senkah screamed, lunging for him. Thunder stepped to the side, dodging her as she snarled.

"Guards, seize her at once!"

"It's unfortunate that it had to come to this, my love," Thunder sighed as he looked at Senkah, chained up and in shackles.

"As if you'd care," Senkah half growled, half rasped.

"You are my mate, of course I care!"

"For the fifty millionth time, I AM NOT YOUR MATE!" Senkah screeched.

"My love, how could you say such a thing!" Thunder exclaimed.

"The same way I'm going to shove those words back down your miserable throat," Senkah screamed, struggling in her chains and shackles.

Thunder's act faded, and the same dark, mocking smirk replaced it. "Just try," he sneered as he left the prison cell. With Thunder gone, Senkah no longer had to put up the "tough guy" appearance and let the tears that had been begging to come the entire time fall.
