Krystal sneered at her, giving her one last hard kick to the head to try to make her see stars before unfurling her wings and flying off with the book in her claws. "Let's go, Maggie."
Linnae laughed, "You have an impossible task ahead of you, you realize that? You must first concoct the poison, which has very rare ingriedients."

"Well, I'd have a better chance of finding those than actually getting you to think," Krystal snapped, whacking the book as hard as she could on Linnae's head.

Linnae stumbled, "I'll give them to you!" she yelped, "But you have to release Shade."

She doesn't know that Shade has betrayed Thunder... Krystal hid a smirk. She lofted down beside her, "deal. But you better not be lying."

Linnae gave a curt nod. She opened her bag and pulled out a long list of things.

Botulinum toxin (0.01 ounces)
"Neurotoxin," she said grimly, "Ouch."

Russet colored feathers
"Phoesnix feathers," she announced, "We have to rip them up."

Honey
"Crazy, right?" she snickered.

Cottonmouth venom

Arsenic
"Want a bite?" she asked.

Sodium
"Its already crushed," she explained.

Yew

Pieces of horn
"That's unicorn, narwhale, and dragon," she said.

Pegasus feathers

A vial
"DO NOT OPEN IT YET," Linnae practically shrieked, "Its Anthrax. It will shut down your respiratory system."

Another vial
"Sarin."

Amatoxin.

Poison Hemlock.

"Now," Linnae said, "Add water and boil it. Then repeat the EXACT words: Tenebras receptum aeterus! pour it on the wound, wait ten minutes, and it should recede into the stone."

She dropped a large rock in front of her.

"Good girl. If you gave me the correct formula, Shade will be released as soon as Sylvia heals. If you gave me the incorrect formula, or a poison, well," Krystal unsheathed her wickedly sharp claws and let them speak for herself, winking.

Linnae hissed, "Make sure both vials are submerged when you open them if you want to live. I'd hate for something to happen with the neurotoxins as well..."

"Oh, keep your beak shut. You couldn't care less about us," Krystal snapped, giving her a hard smack on the beak.

"And it's your fault!" Krystal snapped back, giving her another sock in the beak before taking off with what Linnae had given her.
