"What will happen to her allies when Thunder takes over Rainea?" Spera asked, she wished she could stop blurting out questions, but her doubt in Thunder's army was slowly melting away.

"Imprison them or kill them. We'd exile them but there are too many risks with that. The guardians exiled Thunder many years ago for nothing, and he came back."

That actually sounds fair to me...Spera straightened, "When can I start training?"

Outside Gajou, Thunder's fortress, Domino had all of the children gathered for training. She picked Spera and charged at her, teeth bared and in attack stance. She lunged for her, but right before she hit, Domino jumped out of the way. "Now remember this attack sequence," Domino said, "I'm going to actually bite you next time, but I won't hurt you."

"Okay," Spera said, "Can I try it?"

"Yes," Domino nodded.

Spera looked around for somone to try it on. I can't do it on a rock or something, that'll make me look stupid.
