Incendia narrowed her eys, "It seems there are many groups here. Many goals. But we all want to defeat Thunder, and even with that in mind we can't work together." She paused, her eyes settled on no-one, but Noeta resisted the urge to look at her. "Me included as well."

Greta rolled her eyes, turning around to check on Reika while purposefully flinging a bunch of dirt into Noeta's eyes with her talons.

A small black lab puppy was perched in a tree just outside the cave, listening. Wasn't this what Thunder wanted, for there to be distrust among the rebels after Fictus? She unfurled her wings and flew out of the tree silently, heading to Futago Pass.

"Noeta started lunge forward, dust spinning around her in a dustdevil.
"NOETA," Incendia grabbed her by the scruff with one foot, trying to balance in the air with her wings by striking out wityh the other.
Incendia pulled the wolf closer, "Get out of here and find the rest of our team. NOW."
Noeta trotted outside, muttering to herself. Maybe I was lying, she thought, The distrust is getting to me too. Well, then I WON'T join the pack. Her eyes flashed, I don't care what some stupid turkey or pony says. I'm going to find Thayma, or Spera, or whatever she calls herself. And...and I'm going to make things right!

Stupid wolf, Greta thought to herself. She began speaking in hushed tones with the rest of Senkah's team about their plan to rescue her.

Rose spotted Noeta and ran up to her, "Hey! Have you seen Call and Neptune?!"
"No," Noeta said, "Go look somewhere else."
"What?!"
"Things..." Noeta sighed, "For me, things have changed. I just...I just....I see a chance to do what looks like the right thing and Incendia and Neptune don't want me to!"
"With who?" Rose padded closer, "You're not seriously thinking of spying for use. You'll--"
"No!" Noeta glanced around, "Come into the woods with me. There's something I want to explain."

"Then we should leave immediately," Hades whispered. Noctus nodded grimly, not very eager about fighting but knowing that it was inevitable. They rose to their feet and unfurled their wings, disappearing into Futago Pass.

"When I was a pup," Noeta said, "I had two siblings named Cassus and Stella. Stella flew off a cliff when I was three months old. Her wings weren't strong enough and she's either crippled or dead. Either way none of us ever found her again. Cassus was, well, the leader of the group. And not a very good one, I have to add. He was way to harsh. He always took more food than he could even eat and wrecked the surplus stuff he took so it couldn't be eaten.
"When we were nearly a year old he found a nice mate named Aessa...or Asta or something like that. They had two pups named Thayma and Lystra. He visted me sometimes with his power. It...it's walking dreams. It was clear to me he was still an ambitious fool but also a dangerous one. He told me about his dreams of becoming a guardian. He would work with the others and one day make an army great enough to destroy them. It...it scared me Rose. For a while he acted like I was his accomplice. As he countinued this his plans got less irrational and more possible.
"Then I couldn't stand it. I tried to steal the pups from them. It was terrible and chaotic. I barely remember it. It was all just shouting and snarling and blood."
Noeta looked at Rose. She was starting to see it again, trickling across the leaves...
"Me and Cassus got in a fight. He called me a traitor. He said I was trying to destroy him. I called him the same thing for trying to make such terrible plans. It got violent. I remember his mate screaming at the pups to get in the den.
"Then that stupid little she-pup. The one named Lystra, I think. I don't know what happened. She was either scared or confused or trying to break us apart. Either way, me and Cassus were tumbling and slashing. The moon was only a sliver of light, we could barely see if we were biting ourselves or the other.
"I heard this howl. The most insane and mournful howl a creature can let loose. I froze, the sound of a mother trying to save her pup ringing in my ears. We both tried to save the pup, but someone had struck her a blow to great to repair. One of us..." Noeta sobbed, "One of us had killed Lystra."
"Cassus gave up on his plans as far as I know. I never saw him again. But now I know he's with Thunder and he still has his pup, Thayma or Spera whatever she's named now."

Thunder chuckled softly as he heard the news from the black lab. "For so long, the rebels have claimed to be the 'good guys'... but in reality, they're no better than us. Remember that time that stupid gryphon and two cats were going to kill that young she-fox who had just given birth to pups, merely because they suspected her of being in my army?"

Nikki was astonished. "Really?!"

Thunder nodded grimly, "yep.

Rose gaped at Noeta, "You...you killed her."
Noeta shrugged sadly, "Neither me or Cassus knows or probably will know what happened that night."
"And what does this has to do with now?"
"I think..." Noeta looked at Rose, "I think I can get Thayma to spy for us."
"After you killed her sister?!" Rise exclaimed.
Noeta shook her head, "When I saw her she said her name was Spera and didn't even remember me. It's like Cassus or someone memory wiped her."
