Dasha prowled silently through the valley, the spots on her coat glowing in the sun. She walked under a tree, then stopped and looked around, smelling the air. "Sister!" she said warmly. "How are you?"
A pure black panther dropped out of the tree, landing next to Dasha. "I'm fine! I haven't seen you in, what, it must be almost two weeks?" Shadow purred, rubbing her head against Dasha's shoulder.
