Chapter 47
Later on the day I ate and drank like nobodys business, same with my Little Miracles. Emma also did tell Pepper everything and her reaction was happy and thrilled. I was so happy to have my friends back and to be back, but I was still sad about Ethel... I was scared, breathing problems can be sometimes deadly. I also get that sickness in my stomache whenever I think about her.
It rolled around to night time. It's my first night here in a while and I'm excited because were all celebrating a welcome home party for me and my Little Miracles. We all waited till the girl locked the coop and at dark we all went out in the coop and partied! Well we really just chatted and caught up on things. I found out that another hen wanted to have babies of her own, but Jaz said it'd be way to overwhelming when all his girls are leaving.
"Hey Jaz... how you liking my Little Miracles so far?" They peeked out behind me and went up to his legs and hugged him. It was such a sweet moment that I almost cried with joy.
"I love them! They are too adorable!" He said back to me while playing with Lilly and Rose. That's the first time I ever really seen him so happy. Maybe he does like kids....
Then Jaz did an unimaginal move.... He went up to me and hugged me like a little human boy hugging his teddy bear that he havent seen in so long.
I was so shocked that I didn't know what to do, but I just awkwardly hugged him back. I never thought Jaz would hug me!
"Oh-uh-sorry...." He shyed away. Jaz... being shy? Confussing....
"Oh that's alright." I smiled to him.
Then he walked off to chat with a different hen. My Little Miracles went off somewhere else with Pepper too. Now I'm alone until I turned around to meet Mattie.
"Mattie! Hi! Nice night, huh?" I asked him nervously.
"Yes, it's a beautiful night. I'm glad we have that full moon for light." He smiled warmly to me.
"Hey why don't we get away from the crowd?" I asked him. He agreed and we went farther out of the group and we sat.
"How was your journey here?" He looked away to the stars.
"Oh it was... it was interesting... lots of predators... not much happened, you know?" I looked away awkwardly. I really liked him....
"I'm sure there was. What kinds of predators?"
"You know... foxes, ra-" I was suddenly interupted.
"Ohhhhhh la-laaaa! Hannah and Matt!" Pepper screeched along with Lilly and Rose.
I felt myself blushing and looked away. I was embarassed....
