In the end of June I couldn't find her. But I saw her after a week but never came in to roost with the others. Once a week I'd see her. That's when I knew she had her own nest. For 2 months straight I didn't know where she was until I saw her fly up to this little hut by my shed.
Here's a pic:
That's where she was hiding.
She had one egg under her but it never hatched. She never had any babies.
One day I finally took her off and put her in the coop for the night, but the next morning she went right up to her nest again. Then later that night she went up to roost with the others. I was happy, thinking she'd stay with us for the rest of time. She did! Here are some pics when she got off her nest. She was a bit pale because she got no sun.
After a week she molted badly, which was a good thing because then she got beautiful feathers. I do not have any recent pics of her because I cannot find her.
I hope you find Angel again. She sounds very special to you. Maybe she went to hatch more eggs, I sure do hope that is where she is. Good Luck & God Bless. You have an amazing story telling ability.
