The Lonely Hen --This is one of my chicken stories--

Chapter 34

There was a small hole in each of my eggs! They are peeping! I started to do a little dance on the branch I'm standing on. I was so happy!
"Bambi! Guess what!?" I yelled to Bambi. "They are peeping!"
I danced a little more. I was very excited now! I better start getting food for them soon because they could be hatching tonight or tomorrow morning.
I got all the way down and searched for some bugs and worms for them. I found an even amount of bugs for both of them and went back to my nest. I spit the bugs out in front of the eggs and I'd leave it there till they hatched.
I'm going to leave in 3 days because the little chicks will have to know how to walk properly first.
Also when they hatch I will be able to tell if they are boys or girls. Mother hen's instinct.
I sat on my nest and started to talk to Bambi on what's going to happen. She was right below my tree so that'd make it easy to talk to her.
"Bambi I am leaving in 3 or 4 days." I said to her.
Bambi frowned.
"I don't know if I could take you with me or not."
She started to wimper. Oh Bambi....
"Bambi don't cry. We'll figure something out. Mabe you can come with me, but I would have to think about it, alright?"
She nodded and layed down. I sighed and sat back in my nest. What should I do? Should I bring her and tell her she can only visit a short amount of times or should I tell her to stay and live in this forest by herself? The second way sounded cruel so maybe I'll be able to bring her. We will have to see how it goes.

I stayed on my nest for the rest of the night and my Little Miracle's peep holes got bigger. I now knew that they'd hatch in the morning. This was so exciting!
It was around dark now so I went to sleep having sweet dreams.
