The fox stayed by our tree and wouldn't go till we got down. Bambi was still gone which was good because we don't want her to encounter the fox. All the fox did was growl and look at us every 10 seconds.
"Mammy, Mammy!" Lilly peeped, "Where's Bambi!?"
"She's coming back, don't worry Lilly." I responded.
"Promise?" Lilly asked.
"I promise. Now go back to sleep before you wake up Rose."
She did what she was told and I just sat there till the fox went off. He stayed here for a long time and my stomache was growling. I was getting pretty hungry.
The fox got frustrated, but still continued to wait. He tried to climb up to tree and hop to branches, but that was a fail. I just decided to get some rest too then maybe he'll go away.
I woke up from a loud bang and so did my Little Miracles.
"Mammy!" Rose peeped, "Mammy I scared! What was tat!?"
I looked down at the base of my tree, no fox. He must have left... hopefully. Bambi was still gone too though.
Then there was another loud bang. It was coming from the sky. I could tell it was starting to storm, it was already sprinkiling.
"Mammy... what's going on?" Lilly churped nervously.
"A storm is coming, darling."
"It's scawy!" Rose churped. Then she went right under my wing and hid. Lilly did the same.
I hope the storm won't last to long because now my stomache was really growling. I was getting really hungry now. I sighed and just sat there watching the rain fall from the gray sky.
