I had just finished eating cereal for breakfast and was putting away the dishes when I saw Henry, our rat terrier, running about, loose, in the yard. He has a real problem with killing chickens, and will wipe out an entire flock, so we have to make sure to keep him away from the flock.
The first chickens I was worried about was my escaped hens, Fuzzy and Isabelle. I caught Henry and put him back in the pen, filled the hole with logs, bricks, and rocks, and took a head count of our chickens: they were all there!
I almost fainted with relief, and then praised GOD for keeping my dear flock safe. Me seeing Henry out of the pen was surely not something that happened by chance: it had to have been The LORD's work!
Praise The LORD!
