Dew left Splash to continue her foraging.
Splash watched her daughter then moved her eyes to Sunflower, her other daughter. She seemed to be more mature than the others. She also looked at everyone else over there and saw Ruby's three chicks. "Is that what the adorable crowing was?" She wondered. "I can't wait till Midnight crows."

Connor crowed again then walked over to his siblings that were laughing about something that one of them said. "What's so funny?" He asked casually. "Oh, nothing. Just something Atlas said." Cherry giggled. Connor rolled his eyes and looked at Flower.
“What lovely crowing, your majesty.” Flower said in a snobby voice.
Flower giggled, and shook her spotted feathers. “Do you guys want to play mossball?” She said, her brown eyes twinkling.

The three chick's eyes lit up. "Of course!" Connor said. They ran over to the mossball and Atlas kicked it towards the others.

Sunflower saw her mother watching her, and decided to head over. Frost followed, wincing once again as they walked through the glaring sun. It bothered her more than she told anyone.
“Hi, mom.” Said Sunflower, stretching out next to her. Frost also greeted Splash, but laid down in the shade a few feet away, thankful for the cool darkness.

"Hello Sunflower and Frost," She greeted them, laying down next her daughter. Even though Sunflower seemed to be the most mature, Splash was glad that she was still hanging out with her.
