Suddenly, a silver fish darted in front of him. He snapped at it but missed.
"I can see lots of fish!" he said.

Suddenly, one darted in front of him again. He snapped at it and caught it! It was a fat one. He gripped it tightly in his beak, whacking it on a smooth stone. It stopped thrashing. He winced, but set it down for the others to see.

Stone carefully tore the fish open. The pinkish-orange flesh looked fatty and delicious. He took a bite. It was wild-tasting, flavorful and slightly sweet. He gulped it down happily.
"Everyone can take a beakful!" he said. "It's really good."
