Stone saw Ash moving around inside her burrow. He smiled.
Standing on the rock he had slept on, he let out a deep, smooth crow.

Ash heard stone crow, and stepped outside her burrow. The sun lit up her feathers.

Stone waved at her from his perch on the rock.
Wren crowed as well. Her crow was still more melodious than any of the cockerel’s.

(Dust doesn’t know that she’s not really a normal female, since he’s new. Can we RP out his reaction?)
(Wren is a female without the normal internal female organs. So she looks female, minus her silver saddle feathers.)

Wren let out another good crow, then started to preen her silver and brown feathers.

Dust walked out of his burrow and crowed. He didn’t hear wren crow, but he walked over. He noticed wrens second crow, and was very confused. “You have pointy feathers for a hen!” dust said. She didn’t look roosterish other then that, but the crowing put dust over the edge. “How come you crow?” he asked
