*The Lovely And The Ugly* A wild Chicken RP 2

Connor looked down at her. He dropped into the sun with her.
Flower opened an eye, looking at him. She knew she’d have to make a solid decision soon. She had told Connor that she’d tell him whether or not she wanted to be with him when they were older….well, she was nearly an adult now.
Her strange, spiked comb was already growing, as were her wattles. They were nearly as red as her brother’s. She was pretty much all grown up. And that meant she had to decide, didn’t it?
She growled under her breath, feeling cold and dark despite the warm sun.

Connor closed his eyes in the warm sun. He had a slight smile on his face. He loved to be around Flower.

Flower felt his wing touch hers, ever so slightly.
She smiled.
She did want to be his mate.
Did he still want to be hers?
She buried her thoughts and just relaxed in the golden light. She knew it brought out the black splashes of feathers on her, stark against the silvery white of her feathers. She hoped Connor thought she was pretty.

But maybe she had taken too long? Did he like someone else now?
Realizing she had circled back to what she was trying NOT to think about, she cleared her mind once again.

Connor's smile became bigger just because he was happy.
