Primrose walked, one foot after the other, behind Stone.

Stone nodded towards a break in the trees. "There's home sweet home."

Saffron stared in awe. This was crazy! After escaping, she vowed to be free. But all of a sudden, a home base didn’t seem that bad.

Primrose took in the burbling creek, the swaying trees, the mossy ground, and the golden sun. She saw unfamiliar chickens turn their faces toward her. Suddenly she felt out of place and ugly around these glossy, beautiful chickens. She shied away, ducking behind a tree.

“Did you want to see the head rooster? Im sure he will accept you.”

Primrose trembled. "I shouldn't be here. I was supposed to die. I want to go back."

Snowberry narrowed his eyes. He saw Stone and Wren. But...who was that bird? And who was Ash talking to?

Name: Lucky

Breed: Mostly leghorn but likely a mix of something else in there as well

Sex: Female

Age: Nearly 6 months

Appearance: A pure white (although slightly stained) hen who is a little bit small for her age. Her eyes and a brilliant green and she has a pretty slender build. Her comb is always somewhat pale and it stands straight up in a very un-leghorn like way.

Life Story: She grew up in Happy Hens facility as one of their white layers but one night some teenagers broke in and let a bunch of hens out. She was the only one who was both bold enough to run out into the night and lucky enough to not get caught. That was a few weeks ago. Now she's been surviving mostly off of scraps that someone throws out every few days.
