*The Lovely And The Ugly* A wild Chicken RP 2

“Um.. I think it’s saffron.”
“Do you promise to obey flock rules? They are as such: no violence unless you are in a permitted spar match. No hoarding of food. Anything I say must be followed. Above all, look out for your flock.”
He said.
“If you promise to do these things, of course you may have a place in Dawnflock. I am sorry for how your life has been thus far, but it shall improve. Our flock is a wonderful place to live.”

“Yes.” Saffron wanted to hug snowberry for giving her another shot at life. Her eyes got wet.

Lucky was getting a little desperate. The human hadn't put scraps out in a few days and she knew that it was bad to go that long without eating anything but a little bit of grass. She was already underweight. She had seen two chickens that looked as bad as her head deeper into the forest with three shiny, healthy looking chickens earlier, though. She had, of course, decided not to approach them in case they were hostile but now... She regretted that decision. So she made a worse decision, trying to head in the direction that she saw them going in.

Stone was sunning himself. The white hen hesitantly ate some berries in the camp.

Lucky soon reached a stream. She drank from it at immediately then lifted her head to stare at it, at first in awe then in frustration. There was no way she could cross it in her state! Then she realized, there was no way those other chickens could cross it in their states either! They must have turned and gone off in some other direction. The idea that she truly had no idea where they went didn't seem to sink in though.
