*The Lovely And The Ugly* A wild Chicken RP 2

"We just had some hens join our flock from a place where they were held captive for eggs. Are you from there, too?" Fern asked.
"Yeah, I uh escaped that place a while ago," Lucky admitted, almost as though it were terrible that she had escaped but still doesn't look much better "I saw them going into the woods earlier so I sort of followed their foot prints and ended up here."

"Well, lucky you. There's tons of food and comfy nests back where I live with my flock. Come with me!" She said warmly. She felt for the poor hen.

Lucky perked up at the mention of food and nests. "Ok," she managed to get out before eagerly following the hen. A lot had changed in the past few minutes but this is what she'd been hoping for right?

Fern led the way back to the camp. "Snowberry!" She called.
The huge gray and white rooster trotted up. "Who's this?" He asked.

Lucky shrank back a little.
The lead rooster peered at the hen with golden-brown eyes. "You don't look so good." He said.
"I haven't eaten well in... A while" Lucky admitted.

"Let's get you some food, then." He rumbled. "There are berry bushes over there, and some good seeds in the patch other there. Fern can show you." He said.
Lucky glanced between the berry bushes and the seed patch before deciding the berry bush would most likely be more filling. "Thank you," She told Snowberry gratefully. She moved toward the berry bushes with a little bit more energy , knowing that she would soon be able to fill herself with the small round berries.
