Fang blinked as she saw a form in the snow. It was shaking hard. "No!" Fang bit back tears (Again, chickens don't cry, but) as she ran to her friend. "Rain! I'm so sorry!"
Rain's eyes were sealed with ice, but she could hear her friend's voice.
Smoke followed them out, stumbling on the deep snow.

Fang tried to lift Rain, but she didn't have a muscular build. The baby rats tried to pull as well. Fang raised her voiced to it's loudest. "Rain is going to die! Please help me!"
Storm came and started to help drag the small frozen hen through the snow. Eerie and Snowberry came too, but were immediately distracted by the rats. "Fang! Rats! Run!" shouted Snowberry.

"Save Rain first! They won't hurt me!" Fang pushed the rats off of Rain so that Snowberry and Eerie could get her.
Web came out as well, but she needed to keep Smoke warm, so that he wouldn't die.
Storm and Eerie dragged Rain all the way back to camp. Snowberry was about to attack the rats to defend Fang but hesitated. They didn't seem to be hurting her.
Suddenly he heard a thin cry. "Help!" Shouted a frail voice, whipped away by the wind.

Fang ran alongside Rain, the baby rats right behind her. They leaped on rain, licking her face to try to keep her warm. "Rain, Rain? Are you gonna be okay?"
(It's not rain who's crying out)
