Maybe she falls down from high up and then he saves her or something like that? Then they sit in a burrow for a little while together. Then they actually bond and start loving each other truly?)

Saffron hit the ground with a small thud.

“Yes! I’m coming!“ she was starting to get lightheaded. she pushed on. The air was thin up here. She was getting dizzy. she saw her vision blurring, and getting black at the edges. She fell.

Timber jumped up to another branch as she fell. Suddenly he heard rustling in the leaves. He looked down to see Saffron falling down to the ground. "Saffron!!" He yelled. He jumped out of the tree, thankful they hadn't gone too high up. He hurt his leg as he landed on the ground but ran over to her as fast as he could. She was already on the ground as he got to her. He grabbed her neck feathers quickly and dragged her into his burrow. He didn't want anyone to know that she had passed out and fallen since he thought it was his fault.
