Saffron looked at Snowberry. She knew Bea was old, but she had just met her… Saffrons eyes were wet and she was shaking a little.

Flower paced, feeling her body push and contract.
She went to her mother's burrow, pulling out the grasses and moss stored there. Clucking softly, she carried them back to her own, making up the most comfortable nest she could. She knew what was happening now.
(Connor needs to be shocked and confused when he gets back.)

Eerie, running ahead of Connor, scrambled into the burrow. "Oh, my. I thought something was actually wrong." She said, out of breath.
Flower chuckled from her cozy nest. "Nope. Just wanted you to be here."

Connor ran back to their burrow and saw Flower making a nest. "Flower? What are you doing?" He looked back at Eerie and back to Flower. He obviously did not know anything about egg laying.

"Isn't it obvious, you silly?" She said, eyes twinkling.
