Connor was at the nearest stream, drinking water. He scooped some up on a leaf and brought some to their burrow. He figured it had been a while since she had drank anything.

Flower sat on the nest, drifting in and out of sleep.

 

[Little Baby Bean]

Eerie nodded. "Cherry, can you try to relax your body?" She said.

"I guess." She said. She tried but the thing that was mainly stressing her out was Eagle. She couldn't get their awkward talk out of her head. She still liked him. She needed to talk to him for real. Cherry took a couple deep breaths in and out and relaxed her body. "Phew. There we go, Eagle- Er! I mean Eerie." She panicked once again.

Connor walked up to her and dropped the water filled leaf in front of the nest. "Flower." He whispered. "I brought you some water."

"Mmm." She said, rousing herself to drink. "I don't feel well." She murmured.

"Mmm." She said, rousing herself to drink. "I don't feel well." She murmured.

Connor started to panic but didn't show it. "What? What do you mean?" He asked her calmly, sitting next to her.

Eerie chuckled. "Is it out?"

"Oh, no. Not quite yet. But it doesn't feel like it's wrong anymore." She said, still embarrassed about what she had said. She began to push the egg out unexpectedly.

Connor started to panic but didn't show it. "What? What do you mean?" He asked her calmly, sitting next to her.

"I'm not sure." She said. "I'm gonna get some air."
She stood up and stepped forward, but her legs went out from under her and she collapsed on her side with a whimper.

"Oh, no. Not quite yet. But it doesn't feel like it's wrong anymore." She said, still embarrassed about what she had said. She began to push the egg out unexpectedly.

"Okay. Tell me when it's laid." She said, leaving with a wave.

"I'm not sure." She said. "I'm gonna get some air."
She stood up and stepped forward, but her legs went out from under her and she collapsed on her side with a whimper.

"Flower!!" He yelled, running to her side. "EERIE!!" He yelled out as loud as he could.

"Okay. Tell me when it's laid." She said, leaving with a wave.

"O-" The egg dropped out. "Kay." She finished. She looked down at her cream with dark brown speckled egg.
