Ripple felt the warm sun on his back. It almost made him feel happy, before he remembered that the last time he had sunbathed was with Cattail.
"Warm." He said softly. "It's a good spot."

Toad turned back to him and nodded his agreement, his uneven wattles bouncing slowly on his throat.
