Connor closed his eyes sadly. He nodded. Tears came to his closed eyes.
"Hey. I didn't say no." She murmured, nudging him. "I just think...I want to be older before I try to figure all this out."

He nodded again, his eyes still closed. The tears didn't leave though. He didn't know why he was still so disappointed. He understood what she meant completely. The emotions were just rushing around inside him.
Flower sat beside him for a while, wishing she could say something better. Eventually, all she came up with was, "We should head back, probably."

Connor nodded sadly. He walked out from under the bush and started to walk back to camp. He remembered about Sage and the emotions all came back to him.
Flower followed a bit behind him.
