Name: Storm

Appearance: Splash-colored rooster with a greyish base. Brassy patches on the shoulders. Ice-blue eyes. Modified pea comb.

Age: 3-4 years.

Flock: None, currently

Story: Has lived on a human farm his whole life. The flock was allowed to roam free sometimes. He met a lovely blue hen at a neighboring farm, and unbeknownst to him, she had a chick. That chick was cast into the forest and sheltered by songbirds. (Sound familiar?)
After the owners of the blue hen's flock came and made angry growls at his owners, his flock was not allowed out any more. His brother escaped one day. He never saw him again, and assumed he had been eaten promptly.
Recently, a predator ripped through his flock. He heard rumors of a safer wild flock in the forest, so he set out to find it.

Storm stood at the top of the hill, peering down at the wild flock. Hens and cockerels milled about in the clearing, while a senior rooster, probably about his age, stood watch on a jutting rock. The splash-colored rooster looked oddly familiar.

Storm shook his head. No time for dreaming of lost brothers.

He strode down the slope, letting out a soft crow. Not threatening, but announcing his presence.
