Web ran behind her, looking around camp. "Do you think that she would wander off?!"Prim nodded, tears in her eyes. She rushed outside.
“Ready to go back to your adoptive mother… I’ll always be here for you, okay? And you don’t have to go back if you don’t want to… I’ll happily take you under my wing.” Posh said, trying to convince her to stay.“Mmmph.” Grumbled Dahlia.
“Mm.” She said. “Just wondering if I’d met him. We have some outskirters who you wouldn’t want to run into.”“Like an enemy. Beyond that, I can’t really remember. I’m sorry. It’s just the way I’m wired.”
“She’s probably worried sick. She’s too kind to me.” Muttered Dahlia. “Why don’t you come meet her? I think you’d like her. She’s had a very rough life, too.”“Ready to go back to your adoptive mother… I’ll always be here for you, okay? And you don’t have to go back if you don’t want to… I’ll happily take you under my wing.” Posh said, trying to convince her to stay.
“Probably not. I’ve fought many males in my lifetime. All I can really remember from any of them is the blood, the adrenaline, the rush.”“Mm.” She said. “Just wondering if I’d met him. We have some outskirters who you wouldn’t want to run into.”
She paused, thinking.
“If you saw him, would you recognize him?”
“Nice.” She rolled her eyes. She could smell the testosterone.“Probably not. I’ve fought many males in my lifetime. All I can really remember from any of them is the blood, the adrenaline, the rush.”
Tiny was pushing them out of the burrow. “Come on, we have to go.”“She’s probably worried sick. She’s too kind to me.” Muttered Dahlia. “Why don’t you come meet her? I think you’d like her. She’s had a very rough life, too.”
Dahlia trotted forwards on her teeny little feet.Tiny was pushing them out of the burrow. “Come on, we have to go.”
“Oh, no… no thanks. I don’t really like other chickens…” Poshy said nervously.“She’s probably worried sick. She’s too kind to me.” Muttered Dahlia. “Why don’t you come meet her? I think you’d like her. She’s had a very rough life, too.”
“I don’t know. She’s so hurt inside. But I know she loves me. Why would she run away?” Prim sobbed.Web ran behind her, looking around camp. "Do you think that she would wander off?!"
